In Our Gun is the third studio album by UK band Gomez in 2002. It made the top 10 of the UK album charts as well as the top 50 of the Australian album charts. The single "Shot Shot" charted in the UK top 40 and made the top 20 in Portugal. The album also made the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

In all seriousness, I have Matthew McConaughey to thank for turning me on to this band a few years ago. Their vibe, the groove fits. Saw them in SF and they did not disappoint. JK Livin' my friends, just keep living.

Fell asleep with TV on (my cat needs it to sleep or he'll go nutty all night), & sometime around 2AM I was roused by this song coming from a PBS special of GOMEZ at Austin City Limits. I awoke with all senses flaring, since this was the most alluring melody I had heard in years! Imagine how long it took for me to fall BACK to sleep after the kick-ass, bass-driven finale' of the song swung into high gear! I HAD heard a few songs over the years, but that moonlit, nocturnal arousal has me hooked!
