As an artist and musician (imo the same) - I am aghast Gomez isn't more mainstream in it's audience. I wish Radiohead, Mayer or any bigger artists out there would pick them up. Their lyricism and musical construction is so esoteric and relevant. But I do not believe in better, best talk in any way. Music and Art is like Beauty, it's in the eye or ear of the beholder. I am sure most bands would agree, ones with talent and integrity that is. Gomez,Dept Of Eagles,Grizzly Bear, so much talent out.
