Track 9.
Songs Of Love And Hate (1996):
A very different approach and sound, leaving their metal sound behind that they've been known for. Yet again a third band member was included. Brian (brain) Mantia played live drums for the first time on a Godflesh record. He left before the tour, to be replaced by Ted Parsons of the band Prong. The band begins to incorporate more dance beats again and the drumming adds a lot to the sound.
Lyrics:
How many lies, can people take
How many emotions, can people fake
All there is is time
Be what you are, don't fucking care
I fail you, you know i do
I'm just the fool, always the fool
Be what you are, don't fucking care
Be what you are, I don't fucking care
