Those guys trying to get it right and put it all together. Hear how Sam Phillips get in between, and "teach" Elvis how to record a song (although, ofcourse there was only one director.. ) :)

It also now clear that what you got on 'A Legendary Performer Volume 4' (and other releases afterwards) is actually parts from Take 3, Take 7, Take 6, and then Take 5 in that order. If you have the 3 cd box set, "A Boy From Tupelo" it will be heard much differently.10 years ago

This has got to be Takes 3, 4, and 5 which is the master. Because Take 1 is a false start, and Take 2 is rehearsals. Takes 6, 7 are a false start, and take 8 is a false start, never ever released until it came out on the 3 cd box set, "A BOY FROM TUPELO"11 years ago
