Written by : Ernest Tubb and Johnny Bond . It was recorded by Glen Campbell in 1965. Elvis cut his version in June 1970.
"Tomorrow Never Comes" was first released on : Elvis Country. This Undubbed version is Take 13 and is the original before the Sound Producer added Strings and Horns in order to make it commercial. This one didn't need any sweetening.
The song is currently available on the Follow That Dream Special Edition re-release of Elvis' January, 1971 album, Elvis Country - a 2 disc set Classic Album series. Packaged in a 7" digipack featuring the classical original album art.
