What's with all the gossip crap? Let's focus on the music shall we? I may be in the select few but I prefer Elvis late ballads and country stuff like this. It really showcased his vocal power. I think this was from "I was born 10,000 years ago" which is not as good as the Memphis record but still pretty damn solid. And please, the man is dead, he had problems (as we all do), he was just a man not a God. Let's just enjoy all these great posts and enjoy the music.

Musicfan, you're hearing Thomas singing after 18yrs of silence. He became so disenchanted when relegated to the status of an ETA or impersonator every time he sang that he just stopped. You're very correct re:the quality of the recording which was done in a small home studio.....just so I could get him back in front of a mike. However, apparently it's been good enough for Thomas to be recognized by some accomplished producers who are picking him up. The goal is to have him writing his own lyrics and music so that the next album will be100% Thomas. His voice has been played as that of Elvis since he was 15yrs. Now you're hearing him at age 60. The goal is to invite any others who have been told that they are an Elvis child to share Dna with. You are correct. ..he's never wanted to be anything than himself and is a very loving and caring man. He's got his daddy's coloring. ..dark blonde hair and steel blue eyes.
