You ain't too far off. Apples in Stereo, Elf Power, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Olivia Tremor Control, and all these guys' interchanging members were very much influenced by the Beatles. ("Apples" in stereo, get it?) Man how I love all these bands, so much like real music, sunny day psychedelica... :DDD

it is the drums that sound just like Sister Ray, these people are correct in their assumptions. i've heard it enough times to recognize it instantly, but it only makes me like Elf Power more, knowing they are the spawn of one of my favorite bands of all time.
