I like Edie Brickell. I think she's got an awesome voice, and I think she's damn pretty, too. But the New Bohemians music is a little... "bland" for me. A little too "artsy-fartsy", but hey, to each his own. One of these days I'll rescue Edie, and we'll tour the country and just do acoustic shows...

I wish Deep Elum would come back. It's dead these days. I've only been in Dallas for about 4 years, and the last time I can remember anything happening in Deep Elum was around 2004 or so, when I'd come to visit.
