If this is the same one I went to, the Harvest label promoted it and featured The Third Ear Band, Buffy St Marie, Edgar Broughton Band, Kevin Ayers & the Whole World and finally, after a long delay, Pink Floyds debut of Atom Heart Mother. Beer of the day was Fosters, then considered exotic and imported. It was hot.

It's sad that the Edgar Broughton Band never caught on over here across the Big Pond--not even here in Canada. Slade had a strong following here, but it wasn't until Quiet Riot did a couple of covers that anyone seemed to notice down in the States.

Dont know how you can say this; ok it may not be your cup of tea but theres no denying its brilliance; it as very "of its time" but that doesnt mean its not good. Of course, musical likes are subjective, but for me it encapsulates that whole late 60s early 70s hippy heavy psychedelia which was popular at the time; I would give my right arm to have been a teenager then:)
