Having grown up during the 70's with such music makes me thankful I enjoyed as much as I possibly could. To young people today: Try to enjoy this good stuff. It IS your heritage, after all. Even though you didn't grow up with this, you can still enjoy it. And at least your class mates will wonder why you've always got a smile on your face.

I'm a big EWF guy from waaay back. Saw them twice in the 70's in Atl. After Maurice got sick and stopped touring I got more disinterested. I just happened to be singing Sunshine to myself this morning, when I thought - hey, lets here it from the masters themselves. Your post was the best of them all SoulMan. Thanks.
