I loved the hippie rock of the late 60's and early 70's but it was Sly and EWF that made me turn to the dark side . I flipped when I heard Mighty Mighty for the first time . From there I went back to listened to JB , Curtis Mayfield , Temps and the Jazz of Coletrain , Parker and Miles .EWF mixed jazz, Middle Eastern and Gospel to create a very rich form of pop music that makes today's pop sound sterile .That being said I will not go to an EWF concert without Maurice.
