Just so you know Dion and The Belmonts , did not sing Runaround Sue, he was a solo artist by that time(only with The Belmonts from1958 to 1960) , and his studio back up group were called The Del Satins who sounded nothing like The Belmonts which is why he chose them he wanted a harder rock sound then The Belmonts could provide,they backed him for all his solo hits until his folkie period of Abrahan Martin and John.The Del Satins were a great group with their own hit Teardrops Follow MeEddie Black, first tenor/lead The Five Sharks9 years ago
