I'm shocked that scary movies haven't snatched this song up for their soundtracks.

This Song was recorded in Spanish by MYRTA SILVA in 1940, and was a HUGH Success, she recorded for the VICTOR Label, and I know the song because my Aunt GUADALUPE DE LA BARRERA DE ALVA sang and dance the song in all the Family Parties, the title in Spanish was SI MI HIJITA LINDA

Jamesmac30 - Oh, I've heard it before. In 1948! My first job as a cinema projectionist's assistant started the week the film, Up In Arms was billed along with Bambi. Quality entertainment in those days with great singers singing great songs and Now I Know is one of my top favourites. They don't write 'em like that any more........they can't!! It really is lovely to hear it again and see Dinah.

Apparently this is based on a Ukrainian folk song "Oy ne Khody Hrytsyu!"
