Amazing clenched rhythms, with reverberations by Black Music's sound. Portrait of environment painted as a chaotic flash between the surreal and the real. Apocalyptic atmosphere, almost prophetic, with a final terse message: "let me collect dust".

- Guitarist Reeves Gabrels, Keyboardist Mike Garson, Bassist Gail Ann Dorsey, Drummer Zachary Alford -

Not seen this before, thanks for posting.I was never that keen on the album version, but live it's fantastic.I like the '76 version when Dennis Davis was given a solo that went on forever.More of these please.

No, as you can see from the video description, is Reeves Gabrels. I respect your opinion, but to define the performance "horrendous" seems a little excessive... Gabrels is a great musician, perhaps here he has not been able to give the best of himself. Moreover, to compare styles at different times, perhaps, is less simplistic than as it sounds. Thanks anyway for your comment.

@naumnn It's understandable: listening again to a song by Bowie, after some time, is not just the memory of an emotion, but the rediscovery of some new points of view that give a different light to his music, because are avant-garde sounds in a language always contemporary. Thank to you, dear.

@Scoobydoonut This song is 37 years old, it's incredible ... I've already told you, but I like to repeat: I'm always fascinated by the ability by Bowie to express his lyrics, even if disquieting, in Rock and with such a lightness that ... it's desire to dance (on our human misery). Perhaps, because his detachment is very communicative, together with his most secret hopes and his masterful elegance. Let's dance, dear friend, always smiling, despite everything. Thanks, I'm near you.
