i will always respect a band for playing what they want to play, and sticking to what influences them the most... its kind of funny how some of y'all say that people that prefer youth and young states cant handle a heavy transition. i feel like there are bands who are experienced and seasoned in heavy music way better than what this is, take stick to your guns for example. i just feel like this is extremely bland and uninspired, after playing along and learning the songs through and through there really wasn't much i could say that impressed me. citizen you guys were on the top and the raw emotion you held was defiantly there i just want to know what changed.

Maybe when some of the younger fans get a little bit older and mature they'll appreciate how beautiful this upcoming record is. Though I'm sure there are also a handful of younger fans that dig this record.

This is so fucking disappointing. I don't know how a band can go from one of the most flawless records I've heard and completely 180 their sound to something that doesn't even sound remotely close. Truth be told if this was their first record I wouldn't be a fan of them to begin with. It's just so unappealing.

UGHH I LOVE the new direction that Citizen is taking. I knew it from the minute I listened to Silo that they were going to go for a much darker sound and I absolutely love it. I'm so excited for the new album and I am really looking forward to seeing them at Warped!
