@Nikanaiko Well, I personally think they're both great. Which is simply -my- opinion. Apparently some people don't understand what that means. Have you SEEN some of the comments attacking Charlotte? First it's for not being enough like Tori Amos. Then she's attacked because she's "too much" like her? I can't stand it. They are two separate artists. I listen to both all the time. Neither remind me of the other at all. This comparison clearly stems from people who are not fans of either of them.

@RipMyEffingHeartOut FINALLY! Personally, I love Charlotte Martin and Tori Amos bores me. If they're different enough for me to love one and dislike the other, they're different enough to stand alone.

Charlotte Martin is not better than Tori Amos. If you actually LISTEN to her music, you'll find that they can't be compared. They are not the same because on the surface Charlotte's style seems similar. They are completely different artists who are both amazing songwriters and musicians. If you actually listen to both, they have a completely separate feel that is their own. I can't be the only one who isn't comparing the two.
