I think that the complaints that some people posted in here are just taking advantage of this song's influences which are clearly from Tori, specifically cornflake girl. But there are many other songs from Charlotte that are very unique and don't sound anything like Tori. For example Volcano or The Dance. I enjoy the music of both composers. I think they are both great and have no need to compare them.

Why can't we all just agree that it is obvious Charlotte was highly influenced by Tori, and what amazing woman hasn't (artist or plain jane) in our generation ladies? Why does it have to be worse better or anything?. It just is! And for me I LOVE it! Thank you Charlotte for sharing your talent. Can not wait to hear more. You encourage me to want to make more of my music. And, yeahmy music would be BOTH Tori and Charlotte influenced! WOW! Imagine that! <3

This is a good song but it is a little too much like Tori at points. It came up on my Tori-based Pandora channel and listening to it at low volume I thought it was a Tori song I hadn't heard yet but then turning it up I could tell the difference in vocals. Everyone is influenced by their peers and predecessors but this is a bit much in my opinion.

@Plantix4thWatcher Well, I was responding to the negative comments about Tori Amos. I would probably like Charlotte if Tori didn't exist, because, basically, Charlotte's just making carbon copies of basically everything Tori's ever done. In my opinion, Tori is far more creative and adept at what she does than Charlotte is and has a far more distinct voice, so it really pisses me off when someone claims Charlotte is "more talented". Tori was the original.

@manco82 Actually, Tori has released, as b-sides, the piano suites "All the Girls Hate Her" and "Over It". And as for Charlotte, this song sounds like a direct rip-off of Tori's From the Choirgirl Hotel (most notably "Spark") with Mandy Moore-esque vocals.

@manco82 @asmailrabbit Hi guys, Personally, I don't have a problem with you debating who's the better out of Charlotte Martin or Tori Amos, but as the uploader I must ask you to not use derogatory comments on this video or any others I've uploaded. I think it's great that you don't mind expressing your opinions, but when people start to swear it's gone too far. I wish for this video to remain viewable to under-eighteens and I don't particularly want it flagged unnecessarily. Is that OK? :)
