A good performance of a rather difficult piece, as many Gesualdo's madrigals are. Unfortunately, it is way off pitch; the original is notated in "chiavette", which imply a performance a fifth below than written.This would give a very different 'colour' to the ensemble, among other things avoiding the 'shouts' of the *Canto* on high G's.9 years ago
