I remember seeing this play at the Liverpool Everyman in the 1970s. No 4 guys could have sung Beatles songs like the Beatles so it was a great idea to have them sung by Barbara Dickson who came from a folk tradition I believe. She brought a whole new interesting dimension to the music.. 15 years ago
