From the second April Wine vinyl, On Record from 1972. A great cover of a great Elton John song, with guest flutist, Keith Jollimore.

This version is much more human than the original Elton John.

This song was recorded nearly 10 year prior to me beigh born, And yet any time I have a craving for some REAL rock music I can count on bands like april wine. I was born a decade to late,

there's no statistical evidence in his post, therefore your comment is pointless and you are fat in real life

Ironically studies have shown 69% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I found this page after working out in Waverly Nova Scotia of all places April Wine's home town. There's a few older houses there and a church turned into a museum. That's about it. Small little place that one would never guess arose perhaps the best Rock and Roll band Canada has ever seen. That's open to debate I suppose but everyone has to start some where. I'm going to listen to Elton John's original version thanks for the post.
