I am the victim of child sex abuse and had just begun my counseling when I bought this album in the early 90's. This song sums it up! It's a hard thing to get through and my abuse was at the hands of a neighbor who sat with us kids. Luckily my Dad wasn't that kind of man!!! But I am grateful for Amy writing this song and it's been my anthem for MANY YEARS and even helped me with my healing process. It's a difficult subject to write about, but I have and will continue!9 years ago
