I just came here from Ambrosia's 1982 AOR gem "For Openers (Welcome Home)" and it's a shame that most rock stations gave these guys the cold shoulder because of their radio friendly soft rock/pop hits "How Much I Feel", "Biggest Part of Me", and "You're The Only Woman (You and I)". They never look at (Ambrosia's) most overlooked AOR gems like this very song, the arena rock sounding "Ready" from "One Eighty" (1980), and "For Openers". Ambrosia was as good of an album rock band as fellow contemporaries Styx, Journey, Toto, Kansas, Foreigner, Grand Funk, and REO. Not to mention that they first modeled Yes, Moody Blues, 10cc, and Genesis's arty prog-rock sound. They just did not get the same recognition as the others. Most CR radio stations threw them under the bus (with exception of a few stations such as K-SHE 95 in St. Louis) dismissing them alongside other softer sounding former album rock core artists like Chicago, Billy Joel, Hall and Oates, Firefall, Dave Mason, Poco, and LRB which is a damned shame.

Anybody got the original video clip of this song (it was a live performance I think)? It was posted here many years ago then vanished.
