Nice job! I love how you complement the rhythm you recorded (when you're playing the G).

The Gretsch Billy-Bo is based on the Jupiter model made famous by Bo Diddley. Essentially, it's a downsized version of the Jupiter with a few small changes indicated by Blly Gibbons, which includes custom-wound TV Jones Power'trons(a Power'Tron Plus in the bridge, 8k resistance...pretty hot for a Filter'tron pickup).

@willemkerpel1 Thank you. I'm just plugged in a VOX Tonelab LE which is recorded into a BOSS Micro BR.

Great effort and a joy to watch. Keep rocking and make Billy proud. Love from the Lone Star State.

This is really good...enjoyed hearing the Billy-Bo. It's an odd-looking guitar to be sure. Thanks for sharing this, and for letting us cop Gibbons' licks. I hate to say this, but your Paul sounds better than the Billy Bo. :-) I know that's subjective, but the LP is a hard sound to beat.

How do you like your Billy Bo? Does it feel good in your hands while playing? I saw one at Sweetwater for 2600.00 but I'd have to get a sizeable discount or find one used.

If it wasn't so damn cool looking..... LOL... It is the perfect look for Gibbon's on stage. But we all now who the Rev's heart belongs to... That's right.... "Pearly".... The guitar should cost a grand.... Speaking of such... I went looking for the R9 Pearly reissue and only found a couple. One was 8k and the other was 45k with his signature on it. Those are some crazy ass prices.

@bryansouza They are rather expensive, 2500$ at least I'd say.

hi, how much did you pay for your billy bo?

@dvrmatt You're welcome. About the Billy-Bo, well it's a bit limited in what it can do. Fun to play once in a while and it does sound pretty good. But I play my Les Paul a lot more. If you need a second guitar, I'd get a good strat, it really opens up your perspective and you get a lot more variety of sound for a cheaper price.
