Actually it's not even remotely plagiarism, it's called SAMPLING, a great deal of artists do it now a days, has anyone heard kanye wests harder better faster stronger, that background and the actual song title are entirely daft punk, but he asked if he could sample them they said yes, more than likely it's what happened here, however there are a large number of differences between centipede and dead weight, so realistically he could easily have passed this and gotten away with it, vanilla ice did it and all he used to get away with his was put a single tap of a high hat at the end of a beat, the reason why people are starting to sample is because there are just only so many good sounds you can make with the instruments available, so to take something someone else has used but take it in a new direction and make it your own, well that's not entirely such a bad thing, everyone says they are so similar, but I don't think so, I heard centipede first, but I like dead weight considerably more, it just sounds better to me, I like they direction zomboy took this beat, more so then where knife party took it, if it was really so similar it wouldn't be so easy for me to choose, just saying I see all the parts where zomboy probably sampled knife party, and honestly I think it only makes up a very small fraction of the song, everyone can go crazy over one or two sections that sound similar, but has anyone given him any credit for everything that sounds original?
