Just finished off my cymbal set today and part of that set was those sweet K Custom Dark Hi-Hats, Those things are super crisp when you shut them but have an awesome sound when you let them open up! Very hard to find Hi-Hats though ( At least in my area and surrounding areas) :P Along with the Session hats :(

You've got to remember that they had to mute out everything in order for you just to hear the drum set. The mute makes it sound odd.

you are so wrong its not even funny... there is ZERO % chance this is recorded with camera mics... if that were the case, the sound thats beside and next to him would be audible and its clearly not... also it would be compressed and crap quality. these were his drum and over head mics that were used to record this... and hi hats are normally louder through audio because everything else rings out more and cuts better... just so you know
