While admittedly this isn't one of Taylor's best guest artist collaborations, taylor has brought attention to Carly from a demographic that has probably never heard of her. That is important to the music industry because old music still has the capability to influence young listeners and future producers.

You are right. But its not Taylor's fault. She decided to change of genre, it was her decision. The fault is from her producers for putting the wrong genre, and of the award shows, its not her fault that they nominate her. It also pisses me off. But also she still has some country songs.
