First heard about this band when I saw them open for Duran Duran at Nokia Theater in DTLA a few years back...Singer had a broken ankle and was moving about the stage using a stool with wheels for support...nevertheless they KILLED IT live and I was instantly taken with their sound and well crafted hooks...Ended up meeting them all eventually at the Viper Room in Hollywood a few months later. Top blokes, all of them....I do believe they took a ginormous misstep though in firing the keyboard player Mark Heaton who in my opinion had a huge impact on the overall sound and probably in the creative part, too and re-branding the band under the name The Chevin...haven't heard hide nor hair of them since....too bad...hope they resurface and with a better band name this time around...with that said, I still play their debut CD all the time and love every track...not a bad one in the bunch...

Just wondering, exactly what the heck happened to YV??? It's obvious they're not around anymore.. facebook, twitter, all related pages seem to have been abandoned or deleted. But usually a band leaves a final post saying they're breaking up or going on hiatus or starting over or whatever, you know?? What happened? I only managed to find one measly segment on a random site saying they're The Chevin now... What the hell, lol...
