The Musical Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel

Beautiful Cendrillon - I love this song SO much and also it is the anthem for our football team Liverpool F.C. A very emotional song to make man or woman cry

【YOU’LL  NEVER WALK ALONE】すっかり忘れていた「勝手に選んだ今月の歌」の6月編。

This number may be a great anthem for the victims of the March 11 earthquake in Tohoku, Japan. Each line is really convincing and encouraging. I am a Japanese; I fully realize how terrible the situation has remained in the last three weeks. I would like each victim to hear this song and keep walking with their heads high. I truly appreciate the whole world's interest in the disaster. May Tohoku recover soon and may we enjoy its beauty before long. Many Thanks from Japan.

@Jellybeantiger Ha Ha Ha BULLSHIT!!!!!!! For the record ............. there is no record of Man U singing it at any ceremony, Some old lady claimed it was first sung in Old Trafford but upon further investigation it was concluded that the particular game she said it had been sung no-one present there could remember it being sung and even if it was possible the way she said it was sung, exactly like the Rogers/ Hammerstein version that it would be impossible for thousands of people to sing it .

@LenaDelovely You are absolutely correct. I was thinking of the original play by Ferenc Molnár' - "Liliom" that is the basis for "Carousel." The accidental/suicidal death of Liliom/Billy is one of those things that gets fooled around with in each adaptation, as are several elements of the play. There's a good Wikipedia article on "Liliom" about it. Pretty interesting.
