From 1962 "You'll Never Walk Alone" album (Columbia Records CS 8704).

Music: Richard Rodgers

Lyrics: Oscar Hammerstein II

"When you walk through a storm

Hold your head up high

And don't be afraid of the dark.

At the end of the storm

Is a golden sky

And the sweet silver song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind,

Walk on through the rain,

Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.

Walk on, walk on

With hope in your heart

And you'll never walk alone,

You'll never walk alone."

Hello dear Doris Day! You are 90: and soon you will walk into Heaven to be with Jesus who I know you dearly love! I know that the Rapture is going to happen just any day! I have sung for Him for 50 years, Doris. So up in Heaven, I ask the Lord to let me sing His songs with you, and also I want to sing with my idol, Judy Garland. I miss her so! Love you too, Doris. I so enjoyed seeing some of your 90th birthday party! Wow! Where has time gone? I am Bob Bateman, Gospel Singer for Jesus: 208-342-4889 and I hope you call so we can fellowship.

Not to be mean but the original version of this sing, by Richard Rogers, the " You'll never walk alone" at the end, the "never" note was supposed to be very much higher than she went. I'm singing this song in my choir.......

It is a woman's song. Everyone brings their own interpretation to the song. Doris is truly loved.

What a great rendition by a lovely and beautiful lady! She is the most underrated singer. I have seen many of her movies and I am always struck by her striking good looks. One of my favorite movie with her is "Love me or leave me"

Couldn't agree more; a beautiful lullaby. And possibly the worst rendition? For me, Gerry & The Pacemakers.
