So here it is... our Christmas single!

Hope you all enjoy it!

On Dec 16th we will be releasing a limited run on vinyl that is exclusive to Independent record stores (to celebrate our album Repent Replenish Repeat being #1 in the first ever Independent Record Store Chart) as well as a digital bundle.

Big thanks to EVERYONE that helped on the video, particularly Harlow Playhouse for letting us use their space to create this and the amazing Gem Goode and Francesca Burr for writing all over me.

Could be wrong but this smacks me as less a poem about a specific relationship, and more about how societal pressures force us to feel. Inside us all is an unhealthy desire to be seen, to be known to be loved by the world. Seen a lot of people saying this is about a single relationship but I think it's bigger than that.

Honestly, this reminds me being physically abused by someone close. It might be biased since I've been beaten, but the words resonate with times I felt like my abuser was going to rule the rest of my life. Then finding solace in the fact that he did it because he was the weaker of us two. He knew that.

Seriously what the actual fuck is this? Music or a poetry recital? What a load of shit, it accomplishes neither feat.

I'm so grateful to hold the knowledge that art and music and not dead, just hiding in far corners of consciousness and experience.

this is profound, a def poetry style is always refreshing to hear in hiphop. Respect the power of the spoken word. glad to see another artist using the roots of the genre. which is lyricism and raw emotion.

We are all damaged. We have all been hurt. We have all had to learn painful lessons. We are all recovering from some mistake, loss, betrayal, abuse, injustice or misfortune. All of life is a process of recovery that never ends. We each must find ways to accept and move through the pain and to pick ourselves back up. For each pang of grief, depression, doubt or despair there is an inverse toward renewal coming to you in time. Each tragedy is an announcement that some good will indeed come in time.... and I believe in the good things coming :)
