@seankearney0o any sound coming in from the side loses the majority or the frequencies that gives a sound a full clear signal, in other words dulling down the sound not good for vocals at all.

@seankearney0o but fact is, I'm not. I know the mic, I know the polar patter, I know what direction it is supposed to be aiming at the sound source so yeah. Lots of studio engineers have to hassle singers who don't know how to use a mic properly that is a fact.

@seankearney0o Dude I am studying music production I do know the polar patterns for mics and sorry to say that mic is most definitely a Shure SM58 and it has a cardioid polar pattern picking up the best signal from directly in front of it, not it's side at all... So yeah I do know my stuff. He's holding it wrong.
