I remember this day well. I was in the car with my dad and brother headed home to Vermont. We had just spent a week on LBI at the Jersey shore with family, and we were at Action Park all day (we suffered no major injuries) before driving past NYC. This concert was live on the radio and this song came on. The radio show host was describing the scene, specifically about the size of the crowd being about a half million people, in his estimation. It was sort of unimaginable for me as an 11 yr old from a state that barely exceeds 500,000 to this day. Great upload! Thank you!

surfing I found this -- a true classic ! Wish I had gone to this concert ( now more than ever ). I discovered Graceland at the time I got sober -- its a spiritual album for me. "...we were bouncing into Graceland...."

Thank you for posting this great vision, it's unbelieveble. It's again one of the masterpieces of Paul Simon.

That's good of Chevy to go up there and do that. But then again, who wouldn't? I mean he was invited to go in front of a crowd of perhaps a million people and do a simple little dance. But still, that was good of him.
