When I FIRST HEARD THIS,I taped it on VHS on RAGE........I was so positive,it was some of the best music I had ever heard[in my entire existence up to that night],I was awe struck;and lucky enough to see,this killer music,with the band miming,to playback of the final[people still have no idea what is good,unless "they've spent tons of hr's,attempting to "get it?,got it?,good-themselves,much like men "knowing what the fuck",it would "be like giving birth"! I don't] version of the studio release,Totally how it is still thankfully,is done fairly often,but almost 100% utterly without this extreme musicality[such sound in "mono" out of a 20" Panasonic TV and a single oval 3 inch speaker "],as per making a video..., about purchase? I cannot find to buy it ANYWHERE? even just an mp3 but....Anyway I clearly remember,before seeing THIS on RAGE [mostly road crew dudes/hangers on,no audience members,were saying one night"[It may have been outside the back entrance to the Phoenician[spelling?] after/before? the gig I played with HITMEN DTK 91,on that home town [for them] gig,on the East coast/Perth Australian tour-best gigs/time of my life,despite 0 lead playing[once for few mins,at an arvo QLD soundcheck a totally"out from nowhere" ad hock LA WOMAN-bass drums vocals [no KLONDIKE-my mentor task master on the"correct" Rhythm guitar,ala his role in Radio Birdman[except recently...too weird? Rob Younger seemed really cool,opinionated about music[so he should be-I only met him 1 other occasion-when he asked if I'd like to try out for "The New Christ's,and I typically was honest to a fault,saying"I'm a bloody EVH clone,I'm not "right" for your music-I tried out for an odd version of Mick Bloods"Lime Spiders"using "Frecko's WASP head,and I don't think Iv;e ever played/sounded worse that arvo]back to the 3 mins of LA WOMAN ] didn't matter a gnats turban,it was what I was convinced before/after "was that I was born for this!'[the bigger the crowd/or small,no nervousness at all,except once at springfields"[old manzil room]when I inadvertently got very stoned from the "bong/mull up tent/cube",the crew constructed behind my amp. Only once did I ever {purposefully smoke weed/joint]-when The "very famous" Ziggy Staten played his first ever gig with "Roddy Ray'Da & The Surfin' Caesars"when Rodney and I were so stoned from this one joint,and Ziggy Don saved the show!So back to the road crew/hangers on "gossip"what's so special about this 3 piece" You Am I" I didn't really reply at that stage,I'd only heard of THE NAME and Iv'e still NEVER seen them/uze guys live for real[Annandale "front Bar-sold out]....NOTHING i've heard from the band since,and the "output" is... and I'm sorry to have to say "isn't even 20% as good as this[Berlin Chair,being practically the ONLY exception,daft video and all] Why did you change drummers Tim?,and why are,or have been so AFRAID to rock like this since[songs/look/vibe?]..."Adams Ribs had a twinkling of promise...but"and about band personnel.I know if you can't tour or live together,things eventually become violent,but this song/clip/production/guitar sound absolutely everything about it utterly opened my heart to Australians playing world class rock,[and not only the 1/2 bands from a certain,obviously very together family] like so many did before and after [some being so ruined by the "MAJORS" with clueless personell,about Rock in general/Rock n Roll,so it was proven "over and over,and over",living in this"Ancient Land",Hearing this up loud,almost made me wan't to really continue living........I had another tooth extraction today,and after getting home with my 5 bit's of gauze,the weird anasthetic used had wore off[first time in 20 years I didn't go to the Rich[we rent]Private,but better resources,made so evident,2 years ago,when I last had to!!,and Iv'e never panicked with so much pain,especially as[of course] it...the infection under all my teeth started friday 29th MAY 2015,now tuesday 2ish am,I'm sorry about the 20% comment,but at 50,and in my situation,there is no time,or point for lies.11 years ago
