Yo Gotti gives his take on what havin street credit means to him after doing a show in Evansville, IN along with Zed Zilla, who is from Memphis, Tennessee.
Yo Gotti, a Memphis, TN native from the Ridge Crest Apartments neighborhood who is often compared to Young Jeezy and has worked with a number of notable producers including Cool & Dre (Lil Wayne, The Game), Shawty Redd (Young Jeezy, Snoop Dogg), DJ Toomp (T.I., Kanye West) and Drumma Boy. Formerly on the TVT Records label before they went bankrupt in 2008, he signed his own label Inevitable Entertainment with Polo Grounds Music/J Records mainly because of the relationship he had with Bryan Leach who owns Polo Grounds Music/J Records, and had previously signed him to TVT Records. His label has also achieved some success after his artist Allstar signed to Young Money and has others on his roster including Gripp and Novakane.
An accomplished hip hop artist himself Yo Gotti has worked with a plethora of other notable artists including Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Trina & Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Nelly, B.o.B, Trae The Truth, Ace Hood, Juelz Santana, Fabolous, 8 Ball, Bun B of UGK, Jadakiss and Waka Flocka Flame.
