Malmsteen always will be the best of all shreaders, because of 3 factors;1.His guitar is a vintage stratocaster with vintage steel bridge, and curved fingerboards. and his tune is the third single coil pick up near the fingerboard. The single coil sound is also more smooth sound than a humbucker, and has sounds tune like Hendrix. 2. His barocque music , not film music but only barocque , make him to has a shreading like an entire one thing in all long the guitar fingerboard, he play only one style but he know well what is he playing and the feeling with in.3. He was an exelent performer in live concerts, and he has a good singer for his songs. He just don't remain in the same place playing, he's moving all the time and making spectacle to the public.
