I just got a Malmsteen Strat for one week now. This year's model, with the YJM Fury pickups. What a guitar! This guitar takes bending and vibrato to another level. Not as much difference as I thought there would be with the scalloped frets board but in a very good way. Hard to describe, but it's like regular guitars are in 2D and the scalloped neck guitar is in 3D. I play it through a Fargen Olde 800 Mk II on the 70's decade setting (Plexi), master at 3, volume at 6. Boost with a Maxon ST9 Pro+. Cheers!
