Malmsteen's tribute is more to Ritchie Blackmore than to Dio...for obvious reason. By the way, stop saying/writing that certain songs are by Ronnie James Dio, they are by Rainbow and Black Sabbath off their respective albums with Dio on vocals or by Dio band (not "Ronnie James Dio"). And in the first two bands sure he was not him (or at least only him) to write most of music, only lyrics (and not always).

if you flip the W in Yngwie on the cover, you get the logo from Malmsteen's favorite food

And Blackmore's solo is much better with less notes.

As Ritchie said it "I cant play anything that Yngwie can but he can play all that I can". So right and even ten times better.

Egunon! Lunes... Pero sigo con versiones que merecen la pena. Hoy una de la que la versión original me parece superior pero es que Rainbow con Dio era mucho Rainbow. Aún así esta versión tiene su punto.

Right,it's hard wired to compare, you kinda cant not, whats abnormal is obsessing over it & getting deeply defensive, covers just are & this just is & this guy handles it,glides through the ranges with plenty of reserve & it should be easy to get past the original & dig this for anyone

It's like they don't care or something. Weird. It won't even show on hard rock.

Youtube, playground for those who does not know much at all, more than how to upload. I wouldn't be surprised if someone renames Woody Woodpecker - Donald Duck...

Well well well. I think that Jef Scott Soto does a very very very good impression. It is always scary to do a cover at such pro level...people will always compare. But if you just see this as not being a cover...........you do admit that it is really amazing. I love it.

One of my favorites of " Inspiration ", great Jeff Scott Soto & fulminant solo section. Great cover !!

A RAINBOW cover. The best classic rock band ever after Ritchie Blackmore's Deep Purple. Pretty much unknown in America I guess, judging by how much air time it gets in the so-called "Classic Rock" radio stations in the US. Lots of Eagles, Boston, John Mellencamp and Elton John though... You have more chances to catch a Kenny G song on "Classic Rock" radio than any of the Dio-era Rainbow masterpieces.
