"Orpheum Fiasco" < Veteran Prog Rocker Geoffrey Downes removed "L.A Dis Tweet". "Jon Anderson surrounded us all with spirituality. I guess Geoffrey doesn't live by the same morals. I miss Jon" said another fan recently. Mr. Downes removed all tweets between Feb 13 - April 8. 2013 from his Twitter account. Its as if the Arriving Ufo came and 2 months worth of tweets vanished. Mysterious indeed

I saw yes 3 weeks ago and although they have a new singer it sounded just as good as this video. Yes is truly an ageless band.

I have to agree with you, Neil. I saw them in 1977, with the same personnel as in this video, and although the faces are older, the music is still as fresh as it was then. Hail Yes!

I know it's all a matter of opinion but for me Squire can't hold a candle to Jaco Pastorius. There are some fine videos of Jaco right here on You Tube. Check them out for a comparison.

2003 live performance video, the song on the CD was Owner of a Lonely Heart, but I didn't like the video for it so chose this one instead. I think I'll also post Roundabout as it is my fave Yes song.

The amazing thing about YES is that, if you listen to them performing this in 1972, and in this video, there isn't much difference. Their talent and consistency is unmatched. It makes me feel old to know that they have been performing together for over 35 years. But I will always love their music.

Every Sunday morning I get some coffee and get on youtube and look for classic old hits from my yesteryear and I always wind up with tears in my eyes, not from sadness but from realizing how great that musical era was and how fortunate I was to live in it.

FRIDAY NIGHT SESSIONS

*Deep Cuts on FNS*Written as an anti-war song, it (to me) is an ultimate classic of harmony singing and musicianship. I've always wanted to play this one, so since I'm up...#FNS #Yes
