And how (may I ask), do you think Bill Bruford could have improved this track?

....is not on this album! The drummer you see here is the groovier, less fussy Alan White.

I'm stunned that material like this just keeps surfacing; this is my favorite album and to get more and more of this kind of insight just adds more energy to the optimum YES experience (GFTO). No other music makes me feel like this stuff does. Gratitude!

These tracks fit prominently in the final mix. I wonder what the debate was like when they mixed in the guitar leads and the fairly intense vocals. How far back did these tracks need to go? I always enjoy following Sqire's interval jumps, etc. in this song. I'm glad at least here the bass is leading. Great album. It shows flexibility in musicianship, along with albums like Tormato, compared with Topographic and Relayer. Fabulous band.

The jam that starts at 3:30 is amazing. I always thought it was the best church organ solo ever. A bit muffled in the mx here, but still great.

Whoa. That's so cool. That looked like a take used on the album. Yeah, the keys were recorded over the phone lines. They were always pushing the envelope. '77 was such a great year for many bands.
