This song is about the aboriginal tribes in Australia that were not notified nor evacuated by the governments of Australia and Great Britain during atomic testing.

All Yes past and present members are so incredibly talented, and I'm not going to get into a dumb argument about such stupid things. I miss Chris Squire here I must say, but it just wasn't meant to be for whatever reason. As I have said before this is my very favorite lineup minus Chris. When this album came out I was most excited to hear Bill Bruford again, he is amazing. One of my 3 favorite drummers... Moon, Bruford and Peart, not necessarily in that order. This is just my opinion !

This song is about a relic point of veiw during the cold war. Seems that the underprivalaged side was just set away as pest.

(2nd part to end) Aside from "Endless Dream" and maybe a good tune like "Were Will You Be", Talk is FM rock

In my opinion, on "Talk" album (btw an state of the art HiFi recording) just "Endless Dream" stands out as a true top notch masterpiece, imho one of the few latest Yes' tunes which matches their heydays classics, alongside, still imho, "Homeworld", here and there on "Keys To Ascension II" and two episodes from the godforsaken "Open Your Eyes": "New State Of Mind" and "Fortune Seller" which rock. The ABWH album overall quality ranks it as essential in the band discography (continues)

Oilliingup, ABWH was brilliant. But, "Talk" is a masterpiece from beginning to end. There's no reason to bag on a great album just because you love ABWH as much as me ;) Not to pull rank here because I'm just proving that I'm old (and got all the good music). I saw Yes as an opening act for Black Sabbath in '71. The second time, they headlined: the opening band were the Eagles, followed by Edgar Winters. Their R&R Hall of Fame induction is LONG overdue. Squire? Levin? Agree.

You're right, of course, Majdo. (Just saw your response.) I was teasing . But, the only member of Yes who wasn't there was (as someone put it), the talented, but money greedy, Chris Squire. We can call ABWH Yes or not. No big deal to me. You do have good taste in music, so I don't want to argue with you. Great minds, you know?

Weren't they actually gonna call themselves "No" originally?

THIS is YES! WAY more than big generator, union or talk; period. No "yes" monicker on the sleeve ,alright. So what? I don't fucking care if fat ass Squire (talented but money greedy) isn't around. Tony Levin fills is a bad-ass filler in. This album is classic Yes at its finest (NB: I've seen them live in 1984,89,91,98,2001,2003 and 2004)

He's right. It's not Yes. They don't have Squire. But it's better for that

Majdo

No actually I'm not. Check it out. ;) There are some members from "Yes" bt in that period they weren't Yes
