Lyrics:

All of the children in the park

Searching the sculpture to find where you are

All of the blind men in the dark follow you

Do you know where you go?

All of the travelers on the road

Put down the burdens to see where you go

All of the mortals with their loss

Follow you anywhere, follow you.

Do you know where you go?

Philosopher

If he should turn his head around

He will see they're all about

All of these people falling down.

Philosopher

Can you survive the world you teach?

And can we live the world you preach?

All of your people out of reach.

All of the people wanting more,

Needing to follow a philosopher

All of the wealthy and the poor

Follow you anywhere, follow you.

Do you know where you go?

Philosopher

If he should turn his head around

He will see they're all about

All of these people falling down.

Philosopher

Can you survive the world you teach?

And can we live the world you preach?

All of your people out of reach.

Philosopher

If he should turn his head around

He will see they're all about

All of these people falling down.

I REMEMBER the day i had to play the role my dad used to have in my own family, namely, the way my mom has to be treated because of her own age related illnesses, the number of things my dad used to do for her is simply astounding, but he always was there for her, and for everyone else,me included... before he passed away, he asked me to take good care of her since he knew that it was something that only could be done by someone who really loved her, so ,as he told me back in the hospital,he was confident i was the guy for the job... the day he died, i was confronted with every demon i could have in my mind :fear, insecurity and the feeling that i could be doing something wrong that could hurt her in any way, i was dealing with the loss of my dad and that,by its own was devastating, but i could not show much of that feeling to avoid bringing her down, so the phrase "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU GO??" came into my mind, so i had to take a long walk around that graveyard to settle down and figure out what to do about everything, silently asking my dad for inspiration... ever since that moment, everything have been alright, but ,as the "guiding part" ,we are subject to that kind of feelings, that can be frustrating since someone we love could get to be "out of reach" when we try to guide them , when we are trying to be someone worthy of being"followed", fear is always there, and will be till the end... this song embodies that feeling of being part of somebody´s life, trying to be able to "live the world we preach" and never lose any of them, at least i want to believe that...miss you dad, you are and will be the ideal "philosopher" for me.... just my opinion.

¡Amazing song!. Maybe the people just need to know that: The origin of world inequality is simple and it´s easy to calculate: Modern world is ruled by the great oligarchies: businessmen, merchants, politicians, clerics, and army. They and their fans keep half of humanity in misery on behalf of their insane privileges, and they are corrupting and devastating the whole planet. “Do not dream of the vanity of becoming rich, because you will increase the poor”: Pythagoras, 6th century B.C. Actually these five castes and their henchmen, have only two option: change their behavior trying to repair the destruction and suffering they are causing, or pray for God does not exist, because, if He exists, surely He is engaged in preparing for them precious luxury suites in Hell. ("Money can´t buy Heaven": Martin Luther, 1517). As Pythagoras well calculated, if there exist poor people, it is because there exist rich people, so: What is the right price of goods and services? The answer is ….. (To read the complete writing follow the link: “Ad Gut-Gar: Google+” in your browser. There, choose the button: “About”, and the writing is in “Story”)

And yes…if he existed as many people claim…nobody would be out of reach, especially ill people, children, poverty, massacres, racism, child abuse, mental abuse, tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc, etc, etc,…not even “him” could survive the world he teaches…PhilosopherCan you survive the world you teach? And can we live the world you preach? All of your people out of reach…

I interpret this theme as how the ~Invisible Friend~ does not exist and how everyone needs to “follow” a philosopher. In reality, people create their own philosopher for self-comfort, daily battles with fear and guilt, and psychological needs.Very nice melody and lyrics…beautiful song!
