I bought everything XTC ever put out from the beginning in 1977; singles, EPs, 12" singles, albums, video. At first their stuff was only available as UK imports. In Austin there were so many great record stores around the university that carried all the UK imports as they were released, so XTC was always available. This is one of my fave singles from back then. Such a great bass line by Colin. So glad I got to see them on 2 tours when they played in Austin!

This song makes my heart sink. I love it so much but I just get this intense feeling of heartbreak when I hear it. I introduced this band to an ex a few years ago and he bought this album. I thought I'd heard all their songs until that point. I miss him.

"bad girls fuck first wont warm your heart when your that much older" - Andy is so pissed off when writing this song it is no wonder it is so hard to find - What a rare gem... And damn catchy too... Thanks for posting it.
