That is just stupid. Tarja has never defined Nightwish. She was there to sing Tuomas' words. If any other singer was there instead you'd all be worshiping her as well. To say a singer represents a band is absolutely stupid, she does not write, compose, or play the music, Nightwish will be the real Nightwish as long as Tuomas keeps writing the music. Anyway yes we should be talking about Xandria on a Xandria video.

I am a great fan of Nightwish. Of the REAL Nightwish, the only one with Tarja. But, this is not the place to make comments on that matter...this page is for Xandria, not Nightwish...so, let's just enjoy in the music they make :) 'cause it's fantastic! Especially the new Neverworld's End album, which is my favourite :D

@ChienesSaventPas that would be nightwish! and i love them. i just think she sounds like a younger version of Tarja. i love this band and nightwish though

@ChienesSaventPas I suppose that, after so many years and albums with Tarja's vocals heading up the group's sound, anything else has the potential to seem...inferior? The band's unique sound was partially lost when she left. Thankfully their music still has the Nightwish flavor, but it was inevitable that some people wouldn't like the change. Well, the lyrics are somewhat to be expected after that whole scenario. I'm sure the lyrics will have matured once Imaginarium comes out, though. :)

@ChienesSaventPas By one-dimensional, what do you mean? I can't say that Tarja's singing ever deviated a WHOLE lot from her trademark operatic sound. LOL Too bad Tuomas probably won't ever sing on an album again then, right? He has stated that he absolutely hated having to sing, poor guy. I'm glad Hietala was able to take that burden off of him. But yes, I enjoyed the tracks he sang on, below-average quality notwithstanding. XD

@xdarkxbluex Hey, Dark Passion Play was an awesome album, too. Just because the blend is a bit tweaked by the change in voice doesn't mean Nightwish isn't amazing anymore. However, I do agree that I will always have great fondness for the more operatic sound that Tarja imbued the band's music with.
