Christ. I bought this single in dayglo Orange vinyl on the day of release at John Wells record store on Lowestoft. Brilliant song from a truly underrated band - unlike a lot of punk bands, X Ray Spex were top musicians

Here in The States, THE most underrated punk band of all time. Still gets me going in my 40s...makes me want to jump out a window and FSU.

That sounds like more of a compliment to me. "Nightmarish Psychedelic Not-So-Sweet Sixteen Party" describes them perfectly

Proof that you don't need a mohawk and bondage pants to "be punk"...modern kids should take a history lesson and learn that it isn't all about the clothes...

She did shift my opinions. I grew up and grew with her and her peers.. Her death is my loss and all of my era.

@megamollie9 Yes - Poly epitomized PUNK & to put a sax in a rock band was revolutionary - as what the PUNK era was all about - to be revolutionary - anarchistic!!!!!!!!!!
