I have been a wrestling fan since 95, when shawn michaels won the rumble, I loved wcw on TNT and the attitude era, spoilt with endless storylines, cutting edge promos, neck on neck battling... However as I got older, the brock lesnar, eddie guerrero, transcended and sports entertainment as we knew it began to evolve... During the mid 2000s. Eddie died, lesnar left, jericho was no longer relevant, austin retired, the rock went Hollywood, sting never made his wwe debut, booker t was mistreated, and other countless main event stars was gone. In the end we was left with cena and batista which later became orton... During the late 2000s I became addicted to tna and gradually tuned on and off wwe... I am and always will be a huge fan of wwe but when I tell u as a pro wrestling fan and viewer that mid 2009 (jeff hardys departure) to 2011 (cm punks classical promos) wwe has been at it's worst... This smackdown show was awful, and this theme song symbolises how ridiculously horrible the product had become... I hold cm punk responsible for changing the face off wwe... It hasn't been this good since mid 05 for a true pro wrestling fan.Names like Rollins, cesaro, Bryan, reigns are truly are a breathe of fresh air for mainstream pro wrestling.I'd also like to see a team in ring of honour called the brisco brothers in wwe and austin Aries/bobby roode from tna in wwe
