I finally found it, I've been looking for this one for years. I first heard it in my third trip on mushrooms, then at a few raves and of course the Psychedelic Experience video on youtube. The first time I heard this song, on my third shroom trip, I felt so relieved. We were in the outskirts of Montreal during summer, out doors on open plains, I had taken around 4 grams of golden caps but the first two hours of that trip were unappealing, I felt anxiety and cold inside and I thought I was going to go through a bad trip, until I heard this playing through my friend's speaker set. When this started playing, my mind went instantly blank and I deviated all of my attention to the music. After the first minute, my body relaxed, released from all my tense muscles and that is when I saw the most beautiful hallucinations in my life. The shapes and colors morphing into each other, the beautiful thoughts of mental liberation. Everything was just alright. It was followed by me looking up at the sky, slipping away from my body and falling into a gentle mental trance that I consider up to now my most life changing experience.I learned that the world is not meant to be ours and to be looking at our own belly buttons, but to share it with the Upcoming. The Upcoming, as I can describe, is what is to follow: our future generations, all the species of the multiple bio diversities and what is to come after the human race will no longer walk the Earth. I heard, I guess from my inner self or my 'spirit animal', the truth of how to be the unity of empathy and love, and how I can improve myself as a human being. And the last thing I remember from the trance is how there is a link between the abstract and the logical.Religion and Science, they complete each other: Without wisdom, there cannot be advances, and without progression there cannot be knowledge. When I finally woke up from the trip, the song had apparently long stopped playing for over 4 hours, and my friends were glad to see me back in the real world, as they had thought I would of never come back. But truth be told, the song had been playing in my head the whole time, and not that I had forgotten that I was with my cherished crew, but my mind had completely ignored or acknowledged their presence in order to teach me these lessons of life. That was 3 years ago, I have stopped lying to people altogether ever since, I have a girlfriend, I have a job, I am applying to University and I apply the 'Help thy neighbor' rule to anyone that I can help, helping and improving people's lives considerably. All those would of been things that were contradictory to my nature and ego years ago, but now they seem to be my everyday living. As a side note, the legend of the phoenix might be true after all, but it isn't about an actual bird: it is the reform of ones ego after he goes through a life changing experience. This is true because I have seen many cases, witnessed both in my friends and family, after they had gone through hell in their lives.I am certainly not trying to promote the use of magic mushrooms. I just wanted to share my life changing experiences and quite possibly my sanity saving experience with psylocibin and the first time I heard this song.
