For those of you talking shit about David Gold, go suck a dick and die, you obviously wouldn't know talent if it were to bite you in your fat asses. RIP brother, you were truly the best.

As soon as David became guitarist/singer this band went downhill

Love the song but personally prefer David's vocals

This is one of those very few black metal songs that you could play for someone who'd never listened to this kinda music before and receive a positive response.

Huh? What are you referring to? This is the heaviest material they recorded and I clearly implied it was their best.

What? Afraid of heavier music? The sound of Black Metal?

Ulver kept writing good music. Woods of Ypres didn't.

@Mosa0666 It's 240p, the quality really suffers at that level

@ColeD24 But it's so sickeningly whiny after this point. The lyrics totally kill any likability that this album might have had.

@Kilgorin10 Their earlier stuff like this is good but I think it kind of gets lost in the mix with all the other post/black metal bands that are so huge today. I like the new approach to their style. David Gold has a great voice and I think it's wasted when he's doing mostly black metal growls. The clean vocals also make lyrics become a larger part of the song and considering the content and writing style, I think it works. Makes for a unique sound.

I don't know why but this song sounds quite as Lord Belial in some parts. Im not saying it's bad. On the contraty! Ypres and Belial are both superb!
