Brilliant!!! That video speaks volumes...the Northern cold manifested in a manner only David could do...even their hands are red with cold! Awesome talented young man, now playing with the angels. Rest in peace David.

It's not that the song sounds like Immortal. It's the video that looks like old Immortal videos.

It doesn't sound anything like Immortal but this is definitely Black Metal. That is, Black Metal done in the style of Woods of Ypres.

I can admire this bands ambition and songwriting prowess but this really isn't black metal at all. I prefer my black metal fast and heavy and keyboard free. Cool song but not my style. And to the people saying this sounds like Immortal , are you fucking serious? Go listen to Sons of Northern Darkness for 30 seconds and tell me there's any similarities at all

When I uploaded this, I put "undisclosed" because I couldn't find definitive proof of a cited location online, either from David or the other members in the video. It may have been secretive on purpose at the time, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a concern now if a 2007-era band member could fill in that blank. I believe it was shot in the Sault area, but that's all I know about the location

Yeah! but it'd cool to know. Maybe someone close to the band knew? They were from the sault and this is the sault's metal scene channel. Hopeless hope I suppose.

this how ya get the wrong rumours out in the world. David died in a carraccident..... nothing to do with the type of music he made

david did not kill himself. heartbroken but not suicidal. i've heard what possibly happened but his death is nowhere near as important as his life. watch some of his summer tour vids. he was a funny and approachable fella. read or listen to some of the interviews he did around the time leading up to this death. he explains the themes they were exploring in the new album. such a great lyricist, he spoke his thoughts and feelings but shaped them to suit the atmosphere of a woods album perfectly.

It's said that David killed himself. Just listen to Alternate Ending off of Woods V. A perfect prediction to his unfortunate demise. It's also stated in lyrics of the last three songs off of the same album that he was ending his life for a girl. The red haired chick wasn't in Woods IV or V... I wonder if they had a bond and her leaving made him depressed and almost suicidal. I miss him so much.. I would've loved to meet him again! Such a kind Canadian twit. R.I.P
