I think the thing that makes this song so special is how it's enveloping and jarring at the same time. The instrumental is layered in such a way that it feels chaotic, but keeps you with it like any well-orchestrated piece, and it has these mind-boggling rises and falls between layers so that they just barely overlap. And that voice... the inhuman tone is what truly makes this song as sinister as it is. And the way the lyrics mesh with the tune is really disturbing. Admirably disturbing.It reminds me of a saner, more aggressive Cohen's Masterpiece. I love it.
