This actually strays off of the original story. In the story, the ponies were crushed by the machines into the colors of their manes and coats, and the whole of their bodies are turned into color. In this, they are killed by a knife and their bodies are still relatively whole, but they lose their color which is then turned into the rainbow colors, and then they are dropped into a pile of dead ponies, I'm assuming they will then rot or turn into dust over time. Also, in the original story almost all the ponies were said to be failed pegasi with a few captured ponies, and here they are all ponies, with a few pegasi in the staff but that's it.Sorry, I couldn't help but put it out into words. I really like the song and can't stop listening to it, the video in no way degrades the song.Related Videos
